Manhattan - Downtown

La nouvelle zone résidentielle et commerciale de New York est le Battery Park City, dominée par le World Financial Centre. Elle occupe une vaste zone le long du fleuve Hudson.

Battery Park City a été durement touchée par les attentats contre le World Trade Center en septembre 2001. Malgré tout, la zone est à nouveau habitée alors qu’à proximité on continue de reconstruire des nouveaux bâtiments sur le site du Ground Zero .
