
By air
New York is served by three airports: John F Kennedy International and LaGuardia, both in Queens, and Newark International in New Jersey.

By rail
Long-haul services (Amtrak), New Jersey Transit and Long Island Railroad trains use Penn Station as a terminal. Local and commuter services use both Penn and Grand Central Station.
By bus
The Port authority Bus Terminal at Eight avenue, between 40th/42nd Streets, handles long-distance and commuter services.

By sea
Queen Elizabeth II and cruise ship passengers arrive in mid-Manhattan at the Passenger Ship Terminal which extends from 48th to 52nd Streets. The air-conditioned terminal has streamlined baggage-handling and customs facilities, and bus connections to midtown.
