Poe Cottage

Edgar Allan Poe moved here from Manhattan with his sick wife, Virginia, in the hope that her health would improve, but she succumbed to tuberculosis. Her deathbed and his rocking chair are in the sparsely furnished cottage where Poe lived for three years. After moving out from here, Poe soon died in mysterious circumstances.
