St Paul's Chapel

St Paul Chapel

Said to be the oldest public building in Manhattan in continuous use since its completion in 1766.
Modelled after St Martin-in-the-Fields, London, St Paul’s was where George Washington worshipped, and where he prayed after his inauguration as president.

His pew is one of the things everyone goes to see. This Episcopal Church was home to an extraordinary eight-month volunteer relief effort after the terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2001. Unwavering Spirit, a new interactive exhibit, honours that ministry and its legacy of love and compassion.
